The Photon bjj gi is constructed from a light weight Star Weave material and paired with ultralight ripstop pants. The weave is soft, breathable and comfortable, and the weight of an A2 is an astoundingly light 1.16kg.
The Photon is not only light weight, it’s quick dry tech enables it to dry several times faster than the average gi. The photon can also be packed away easily and takes up minimal space, making it the perfect jiujitsu gi for travelling or to fit in your overpacked training bag.

I ordered the photon Gi on Sunday night and it was on my doorstep Wednesday morning! The delivery was super quick, once I opened the package I was blown away with the quality and lightness of the Gi, it's the perfect Gi for training in Australia's warmer climate. The carry bag it came with is pretty awesome too. If you're looking for a super light weight Gi at a reasonable price you definitely can't go past the Photon.

I love ultra light Gis but coming across one that has the durability is hard to come by. The Hooks Photon ultra light ticks all the boxes. I spent a few months putting my photon through the absolute wringer, constant worm guards, cross face lapel control and lapel chokes till the cows came home. The Gi still looks as good as the day I brought it!! If you’re after a Gi that survives the harshest of porrada sessions and a Jiujitsu clothing brand that wholeheartedly supports local Juijitsu, don’t go past this Gi and Hooks brand.
